Nestled between the banks of the MacDonald River and the St. Alban’s Common lies the stunningly beautiful Luke’s Hill Homestead. A picturesque 2 hour drive from the heart of Sydney this is the perfect property for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the delights and natural beauty of the Hawkesbury and Hunter regions with their friends and family. 

The easy journey from the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge to Wiseman’s Ferry where you will cross the majestic Hawkesbury river is just over an hour and half. Take advantage of the local shops and specialist providores to pick up some scrumptious provisions as you pass through the friendly rural towns of Dural and Glenorie along the way. 

The good-natured ferrymen at Wiseman’s Ferry will ensure your short, smooth journey across the Hawkesbury to the MacDonald valley. Only 25 minutes from the ferry to the gate of the Luke’s Hill, enjoy the magnificent drive through the idyllic farmland along the banks of the MacDonald river and across the bridge to St. Albans. Pass the historic Settlers Arms Inn where visitors mingle with the welcoming locals for a drink and the occasional sing-song at night. Continue along the country road for about 5 minutes until and you’ve arrived at your destination. Welcome to Luke’s Hill. You can leave your worries and the outside world behind.
